The stay

Small on purpose.

Prana Valley is not a resort. It is a home with four guest rooms, a garden, a yoga deck and a kitchen that takes food seriously. We keep it small so that the mornings stay quiet, the meals stay personal and nobody is ever just a room number.

"Prana" is the breath — the life force in yoga. We built this place around the idea that a good holiday should leave you with more of it, not less. Come for a weekend, a week, or a whole slow month of the off-season.

Wake to birdsong instead of traffic. Stretch. Eat something that grew nearby. Walk to the sea. Repeat.
What's included

Everything you need for a slow stay.

Morning yoga

Around us

Mandrem: the quiet side of Goa.

Mandrem sits between Ashwem and Arambol at the top of North Goa — close enough to the cafés and markets, far enough to sleep well. Here is what fills a slow week.

Mandrem beach

A long, wide, mostly empty stretch of sand with shallow water. Walk the tidal creek bridge at low tide.

Ashwem & Morjim

Beach cafés, sunset spots and, in season, the olive ridley turtle nesting beach at Morjim.

Arambol

The Sweet Water Lake, the drum circle at sunset and a lively market of yoga, music and crafts.

Old villages inland

Rent a scooter and ride through paddy fields to Chapora fort, the Saturday Night Market (in season), and the temples of Pernem.

Good to know

Questions guests ask.

When is the best time to visit?

October to March is dry, sunny and lively — that's peak season. April and May are hot but quiet and the sea is warm. June to September is monsoon: dramatic skies, green everything, very few tourists, and our lowest rates. Some beach shacks close in monsoon.

What is the cancellation policy?

Advance is fully refundable if you cancel 14 or more days before check-in, 50% between 7 and 14 days, and non-refundable inside 7 days. In peak season and for monthly stays we'll confirm terms with your quote.

Check-in and check-out times?

Check-in from 1 pm, check-out by 11 am. Early arrival or late departure is usually fine if the room is free — just ask.

Do I have to do yoga?

Not at all. Sessions are included but never compulsory. Sleep in if you'd rather.

Is it suitable for children?

Yes for families who want a calm stay. We have no pool; the beach is a short walk. Extra mattress available. Please let us know ages when booking.

How do I get there?

Fly into Mopa (Manohar International) — about 35 minutes by taxi — or Dabolim, about 1 h 45 min. Thivim is the nearest big railway station. We'll send exact directions and can book a taxi for you at local rates.

Is there Wi-Fi? Can I work from here?

Yes, fibre Wi-Fi throughout, and the Mango room has a desk. Monthly guests often work mornings and beach afternoons. Power cuts happen occasionally in Goa; we have backup for lights and fans.

Do you accept international cards?

Yes. We send a secure payment link (Razorpay) that takes international Visa/Mastercard as well as UPI for Indian guests. Cash and UPI also accepted on arrival for the balance.
